While opening shave shop/ Cudarunner sent a beauty!
So I posted that I was getting my shave shop up and running. Low and behold Cudarunner wanted my mailing address ,,,, then he sent a beautiful straight razor to help the effort,,,, NO CHARGE ,, he did it just to help a guy ( who he has never met) reach his goal. This is a prime example why this is the best forum on the web. Cudarunner went out of his way to help a stranger. He sent a Goldust that he refinished himself.... sharpened it and sent it. I got it out this morning and went to work,,,,, THAT BABY IS SUPER SHARP. I shaved one head with it, then about 19 necks,,, it didnt miss a beat! awesome job cuda!! Oh then he says , " send me some to sharpen to get you going,,, no charge" I cant wait to get them back and see the craftsmanship!! THANKS A MILLION cudarunner
Check it out,,, its an AWESOME SHAVER

I know we always say, that's great and that's wonderful, and it is but these actions are pretty common around here.
I guess that's what happens when you have a special membership of folks kind of like an extended family.

That is awesome, and I do think of the membership as a extended family!!
We have no control of what other people do or say to us, but we have control to how we REACT !! GOD BLESS

Knowing Cuda, that generosity is no surprise. I hope you sent him a case of beer ?
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Great to hear that you are up and running and kudos to Cuda (no pun)
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Hey Rob I'm glad that you like the razor but am very pleased to hear that you like my edge. That was a very nice complement coming from a Professional Barber!
My Buddy who does my wood working projects for me had picked it up along with another but decided that the lifestyle of using a straight just wasn't for him so he'd just given them to me while we were working on my latest project (it's getting close to being functional I'll post about it when it's operational) anyway the pleasure was mine!
You can pay me back by giving me a free shave! 'If I ever make it back to Kentucky'!
Seriously, just remember that you can pay me back by helping someone else down the roadOur house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.
