Thread: New to this! Help dating first razor

You guys probably get this all the time from new members. I was given a straight razor as a gift, it was bought from an antique shop, I cleaned it up and was wondering if someone could offer me some help in dating it. I searched around for a bit but can't find exactly what I'm looking for. The stamp says William Bladwort and underneath it says Sheffield, but it looks like something is a little off with the stamp. The s in Sheffiield is smaller than the other letters and the E and the the L look like they weren't fully stamped. Is this common during the process or is someone trying to make a replica?
