Surely must be the wait for when your beard grows back to a shave-able length again. I just got some new soap too!!

Yup! How many hobbies limit you to practice for only 30 minutes a day? You spend a quite hour cleaning, polishing, honing, creating, but can't use it in practice until go time. I think I am going to take up brush making so I have an excuse to create lather

Got any pets? Surely their squirming will give you good practice.

I hear you Andrew... For a while I was shaving daily just to be able to practice, but I find it more rewarding to allow 2-3 days growth to shave... feels more rewarding to remove a facefull of stubble than simply shaving a face that almost looks clean-shaven. Plus, I don't need to shave for work, so every 2-3 days is nicer to the skin.

    I wish I could wait.

Yup - not being able to shave more, too many soaps, and the fact that it's hard to justify doing more than a 4-pass shave...sometimes I think of getting a custom 9/8 blade made with a length of 1" - time for a 50 pass shave!

I'm with him I hate shaving though shaving with a straight razor makes it fun and all the different soaps keep it fun in changing up the routine but in truth I diss like it the wife hates facial hair and you know the old saying happy wife happy life

Like I've said before for guys with a serious cace of "Iwannashaveallthetimeitis" there is the mock shave routine. You get a razor without an edge and then you can indulge whenever you feel the urge.

    Good point.

This is also good practice for new SR shavers.
