Thread: How Low Can You Go...?

I want to play a game.



I'm a horrible minimalist. Name a shave related Acquisition Disorder and I'm afflicted. So as I sat reading posts from others who have more success in controlling their urges, I wondered, just how cheap of a great shave could I get with gear from my rotation? Here's what I came up with:

Razor: Case Red Imp 132 I paid $4 for. Basketcase. Needed a lot of TLC to get it into shape, but she's a fine razor now. I had to re-scale it, and did so with a piece of red acrylic which was $5. So $9 for the razor.

Brush: Omega 10049 $7.99

Soap: Willams puck (from the Dollar Store) $1.00

Aftershave: Thayers Aftershave with witch hazel and aloe $6.25

TOTAL COST OF SHAVE: $24.24 (NOTE: I didn't include tax or shipping on any of this, so you don't have to either.)

So, how the game is played: You must use a razor, a brush, a soap/cream, and an aftershave care product. If your razor was a gift, that's fair game. If cold water is your aftershave, that's fair game because you deserve it you masochist . But the items MUST be in regular use in your rotation.

So how low can you go? GAME ON!
