Chicagoland Wet Shaving Education Day
I am working on a project in a course I am taking called the Self Expression Leadership Program through Landmark Worldwide. I am developing a shaving mentor program. I am looking at educating both men and women on shaving products available to them. Looking to introduce them to shaving products available to them from modern cartridge razors such as Gillette’s Fusion, straight razors, brushes, creams, soaps, brushes, blades, double edge safety razors, scuttles, bowls, oils, balms, aftershaves, etc. What I strive to do is have an educated person leave this special day and become a member within our shaving community with much more knowledge then I had when I jumped into the community.
When we first learn to shave a father, mother, brother, or sister took you into the bathroom and showed you what worked for them, but did not introduce you into the vast number of different choices of great products available to everyone to ensure a great shaving experience. They took maybe 15 to 20 minutes and that was all the knowledge most of us received on such a tough but fun experience it can be.
Looking for anyone who can assist and help educate people on Oct. 4. Not sure of location, but as soon as I know more, I will relay the information.
Thank you in advance for the help.I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

Gonzo I wish I was closer. This is a great idea. I wish I had something like this when I was learning to shave. Never was taught much as my father is a splash some water on his face an hack it off kinda guy. Applause for you for giving folks this chance to see what is available.

Still gathering instructional information that will be shared with the newly introduced members to the Wet Shaving World. Anyone able to help, your assistance would be great. If there is some information you believe I should share, please advise me, and I will try to incorporate. The better info a newbie receives, the more intelligent choices they can make. I am looking at making this for both men and women. Thank you in advance for all the assistance you have given. Look forward to this project coming to fruition.

Yes and that is exactly why i started offerng a class to introduce men and women to straight razor shaving here in Calgary.
I am reaching out to law enforcement, firefighters, military and company groups that may be interested in gaining a better understanding of straight razor shaving.
I will send you my class outline if you like and perhaps we can work together to try to improve it.S.L.A.M.,.......SHAVE LIKE A MAN!!!
