I doubt straight shaving will take off to much with the hipster/millennial crowd, it takes time and patience and you're not good at it right away, so after a hashtag post or two, it will be off to whatevers trending and cool at that moment....like their dinner or something

Gentlemen,
Forgive me for being presumptuous, but who the devil is this author and what are his straight razor shaving credentials? Anyone who calls the strop the strap obviously knows nothing about the straight razor world. Yet here he is spouting off about it. Unfortunately, some potential straight razor shavers will read his ludicrous comments and head the other way.Last edited by Obie; 08-18-2014 at 05:39 PM.

Obie, the last time I looked there were no SRP members on the moron list that the so called hipster is on.

That's different - there is a section on the site for that... for instance, including a pic of my SOTD to my fellow workers at the office...that's hipster #hashtag, "I'm to cool for school".....
This is all just joking around...thought the article was actually interesting...the more we get into wet shaving the better as far as I'm concerned!

Who cares about cool?!!?
I was chatting with a female friend, and somehow straight razors came up. She asked if I was a collector, and said, "That's cool" when I said that I have a modest collection. But when I said that I also shave with them, her response was, "That is SO sexy!"
Now that's what I'm talking about! Too bad I'm not available...she's a genuine hottie. When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.
