Thread: Barbershop in Jerusalem

Hi! I will be in jerusalem for a few months and didn't bring any shaving equipment with me, started to grow a beard so i left everything back home. But I saw a barbershop in the old city in Jerusalem, in the arab quarters, where they shave with straight razor. I have never had someone else shaving me, so i would like to give it a try. But i wonder if any of you have any experience with these barbershops in old jerusalem? Are they good?

All I gotta say, is having a shave in a barbershop in Jerusalem would be an amazing experience. Make sure and let us know if you find one!

Went to one today, it was just awesome! He had a really nice touch and did a good job! My skin started bleeding a little bit, but i havent been shaving at all for 6months so i guess that is understandable. The only con i can think of was that he put on an alcohol based aftershave and my sensitive skin cant handle that... And i didnt got the change to say i dont want it... The price war really good, about 3€

That is a good point. I also think I would bring my own Barbercide or something similar.
