I grow a beard every year because my wife loves my beard. It was pretty lush when we got married and she cried when I shaved it. So now its my annual event to focus my attention on my neck, as well as practice on keeping that beard line nice and tight. I am always surprised how easily it creeps its way down your neck.

I have been wanting to see what i can grow for a while now. I doubt that it will be anything i could really keep but i think that when my son is born sometime this month i will put shaving on hold until i go back to work. should give me about a month. I have never gone longer than a week before and that was several years ago. should be interesting.
JazzWillie my sideburns do that to me all the time. I never realize how far down they make it until i get a haircut.*Insert deep thought/profound statement here*

Thanked: 1160This is actually a great thought as I love my Mo and love to use the straight on it for shaping . You can have facial hair beard ,stach or both and still straight shave. In fact it creates the challenge. If you got fancy facial style, see how well you can sculpt with your cutthroat. That is the art and challenge which can be very rewarding .

Recently, I tried a week shaving only my lower neck...grew out some nice stubble. Women actually loved it. I hated it. Felt dirty. Off it went.
