Thanked: 1John:

They have one on 44 in Greenville. I'm not interested in it but I pass it on the way to my barbers.

I didn't see that they'll give a straight shave on their site. Did I miss it? I really did end up there based on the straight shave.... really....
PS I may have found another barber in Woonsocket who'll give a straight shave. He apparently only comes in a few days a week, and only gives them to his regulars, but I'm going to see if I can finagle my way into that list....

Thanked: 0That's kind of...ridiculous. Especially since the free beer is Budweiser (yuck) and I can get a haircut at my local barber's for $10.
And I thought I'd seen everything...
PS the straight razor "shave" involves shaving off only your neck hair.Last edited by Howard Newell; 04-04-2007 at 02:32 AM.

Thanked: 1In all honesty, I didn't look at the site. Somehow, I think these girls doing a straight shave would be more dangerous than usual. I mean, think about the guy sitting in a chair and a new barber walks by. Of course, he turns his head and.....

Thanked: 9I see this as a bit of vulgarization of the straight shave experience, to be honest...
I do like beautiful women - which leads to my second criticism of the site: chicks weren't that hot, some were actually scary imo. Of course, tastes vary. But if they put it on the web - these are their "best" and it leaves much to be desired.
This reminds me though: probably need to set up a poll on this - does your hairdresser lean on you and rub her body around you, etc - and how do you like it? Do you think they do it only for a nice tip? Honestly, if they only do it for tips - I prefer to do without it, it's vulgar. If she does it because she likes you and enjoys teasing you a bit - it's all good
Cheers
Ivo

I don't want any of my body parts flexing, contorting, extending, moving, distracted when a straight razor is around --- I'll be going to the Rosie O'donnell House of Shaving thank you very much.

interesting. This reminds me of another site... topless academy. As a mixologist (bartender), I found it to be an insult to the profession. I bought the video as a gag gift for a friend, and the teaching is crap...but what is to be expected?
As strange as it sounds, I feel like I can't trust women for a shave. Not saying that they aren't capable, but I'm assuming that it is like bartending. I've met scores of girls that call themselves bartenders, but few of them can pull a decent pint, make a good drink, or change a keg. Too many rely on looks to make money. There are exceptions, I do know of some female bartenders that can run circles around me (Vegas baby!!!), but they are far and few between.
If I'm going to have someone shave my face for me, I want someone that looks like Lynn, someone with experience.
