So, I have a little dilemma. One of the razors I bought to practice honing is coming along nicely. a few more pyramids and it should be giving BBS shaves. The second one has the following going for it. Don't worry about random color issues you see, they are primarily reflection. But, I am wondering if it is worth continuing. these are pictures of the spike of this razor on both sides. What is the verdict?

I think it'll be just fine with a bit of sanding and polishing.
It'll take some time, but should turn out to be a good shavers if the steel is still OK.

I've pulled several small nicks out of the razor, and have established a bevel. What I failed to mention in my earlier, rushed post, was that the differences in the bevel at the tip are caused by what seems to be a very small bend in that very end of the razor. Advice?

If you can learn to hone the bend, and the steel is still good. you can give them a try at cleaning and sanding. If you have a dremel tool, there is a post on how to make sanding drums. the method works really well.

I don't see any issue at all.

I also see no issue. The amount of difference in the size of the bevels is minor. What is really important is that both sides are developing a bevel. That is the only thing necessary for a shaving edge.

    Keep on trucking!
