    Default Shaves getting better.

    Hey guys,
I've recently found that my shaves are getting noticeably better. I use straights, DEs, SEs, and injectors, and no matter what I shave with, I'm finding that the shave is so much better that I've gotten to a point where there is not enough stubble to shave every day.
I am seeing an increase in technique across the board, I think, that is influencing this. The shave does not feel any smoother, but, regardless of the razor used, it is lasting much longer.
Guess I'll have to cut down to two passes; I miss shaving every day.

Just remember go slow and enjoy it. How was your learning curve. Mine was easy because I started before I had any real facial hair and with the help of the senior members I learned how to do it right and by the time I had hair I knew the jist of things

    Thanks!
I've been wetshaving since March of this year. I have my technique down well. Now it just seems like I will plateau for a bit re shave quality, and then all of sudden there's an improvement. I think what is happening is that although I have my technique down, as time passes there is continual refinement going on, which results in a steady improvement over time. I am not striving for all the alphabet soup(DFS, CCS, BBS, etc) you hear on the forums, just shaving, paying careful attention to technique. It is paying dividends.

Glad to hear. I honestly will admit I mostly do just a single pass now that I'm a diesel mechanic I don't have to be clean shaved its what works for me. Glad you decided to join we have a great group of guys on here any questions at all just ask away. If I may ask what made u decide to try straights

I was given my FIL's straight after he passed. I figured if he, and thousands of men before him, could use one, why not me. The cart prices were killing me, and I hated the shave. I had gotten a DE a few weeks before(his as well), found SRP, and Lynns videos, so I was already primed for it. The straight fell into my lap, and I went for it. Best decision I've made in a long time.
Now I use DEs, SEs, Injectors and Straights, but the straight is what I use the most(70% of the time).
