Default A Better Shave as a Christmas Gift

I've got a really good buddy at work that is intrigued by the idea of SR shaving but doesn't have a lot of personal interest in it. He did however say that he's thought of DE shaving as a possibility. I'd love to see him give the SR a go but you just can't push someone into it. I decided that I'd get him set up with a decent DE kit for Christmas and then maybe he'll decide at some point to give SR a chance. I'm really excited about this and hope he enjoys it as much as I'm going to enjoy giving it to him. I got him...

    • Edwin Jagger Lined Detail Chromed DE Razor
    • Semogue 1438 Boar Brush
    • Perfecto Deluxe Chrome Razor and Brush Stand
    • Proraso Pre-Shave Cream
    • Proraso Shaving Soap
    • Clubman Styptic Pencil
    • Gentleman Jon Alum Block
    • Fine American Blend After Shave Lotion

The razor comes with 5 blades and I'm going to give him a 5-pack of Astra's and a 5-pack of Feather blades as well. That way he'll have a few options to compare.

I have the hardest time with presents and surprises so it's going to be miserable waiting until Christmas to give him this stuff; he may end up getting it a bit early. We'll see.

So anyway, I'm stoked. This would be a dream pack for me so I hope he really enjoys it.

Anyone else gifting shave gear this Christmas?

That guy is lucky to have you as a friend. I'm sure he'll enjoy using it as much as you did gifting it.
