I've got 12 in my herd.
2 need substantial restoration.
2 have been restored to decent shaving condition and are in the rotation.
The other 8 came shave-ready from eBay.
My favorites are a Delorme "the Starter" 5/8, a Geo. F. Crutzburge 11/16 and a Rocca 5/8, all round point.
like 50?
wait let me count again
Damn things keep milling around !!!
55 ????
It changes constantly.
In about 2 more weeks that number will jump to 75 or so and in a month it may be back at 40.
Here's my four in rotation, and I have one hone-job waiting in the drawer.
From left to right:
Dovo Bismarck 5/8
American Barber 6/8
Thiers Issard Le Dandy 4/8
Wapienica 5/8
(The Dovo and TI were advertised as 5/8 and 4/8 brand new from various sites, which is why I felt the Wapienica's were more 4/8 than 5/8. But the American Barber is supposed to be 6/8 but looks the same as the Dovo in size. So what's going on here? Unless Dovo and TI work by a different scale to everyone else?)
5 at the moment. Got some projects on the way tho which will bump it up a touch.
