Default I need a little help

So, I have a new razor and was using it for just the second time the other day and managed to drop it in the sink. My first instinct was to try and catch it, but then I realized "Hey, that thing's pretty sharp" and didn't catch it. But now, the end of the razor is slightly bent up. Does anyone know what I can do to fix it?

    Pics tell the real story

But without a pic the answer would have to be, "Honing"

Oh man, what a bummer. I feel your pain, but not as much as you would have, if you would have caught the wrong end. I hope it was not a new new razor, if you know what I mean. Maybe get a cheap, older razor from the classified until you are more used to shaving with a straight razor. I know I was uncomfortable with all the gyrations I was trying to get to know all the best ways to get to all of my face and neck. Good luck with your razor. +1 with the pictures.

The term bent matched with a straight razor is a scary combination.

Depending on the extent of the damage, most times the bend or ding can be ground out and the razor re-honed.

    The pics will definitely help.

    Thanks.

It's kind of hard to see in the pictures, but the damage is to the very end of the blade and only on the corner there

Hard to see the extent of the bend. An end view of he point, at a slight angle, might reveal the damage more clearly.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
