Top 10 threads
I've got a few favourite threads that have helped along the way and inspired. Can we get a top 10 threads list?
1. What I'm learning...and amateur's restoration
2. Honing toes and heels...
3. The Making of a MINTY W&B Meatchopper
Any others??

Glad to see that one of my threads made the list.
In the Deep End
This thread, where X goes from honing novice to, well, at least not a novice, is one of my favorites. It was very inspirational and informative.
Stropping is King
This one is chock full of good info and also shows what can happen when we all take this thing a little too seriously.

Thanked: 4942A top 10 is only as good as the persons skill level, interest or desire to post. We probably would have about 2,000 different top 10 perspectives.
Have fun.

Yeah, Just trying to find some good posts that I might have missed. Like any top xxx list, it's just to get people talking. Like when the local radio station has a top 50 songs of all time and there is something by Robbie Williams in the top 10!!

Thanked: 1587True, but it does give you an insight into individual's tastes all the same. I can't remember the exact titles, but generally speaking I enjoy and get a lot out of stropping threads (technique, mainly) and at the moment I'm very interested in finishing hone threads.
Oh, and of course spinning cr*p on some of the "off topics"

I'm actually blushing.
A also like the stropping threads a lot. They have been instrumental in helping to formulate my approach to stropping.
7a. The Grand Experiment
7b. The Grand Experiment, Phase Two
7c. The Grand Experiment, Final Phase
I have the feeling this is gonna turn into a top 50.

I can't whittle it down that much. Most every thread has some wonderful nugget of information, or a way to do something in a way maybe I didn't think of.
