    Default Nice surprise

The 7-day set that I won on ebay late last week arrived today. The seller was a real gentleman, and actually UNDERcharged me for shipping by well over $2. Not only that, but the auction said nothing about shave ready, but oh boy! Shaved with Monday tonight, and my face loves it. Now I have bald spots on arms AND legs. Oh, the pains. Anyway, I'm really enjoying these razors, and I think that the scales ARE real ivory. Still need to find my old blacklight from the dorm to make certain, but they pass every other test. YAY FOR ME!

    Glad you like them!

The scales look like ivory, indeed - plus Tommy said they are, and I don't think he'd make a mistake about it if they were celluloid.

    Cheers

Who was the seller? From the sound of it, they should be in the "CRITICAL INFO FOR NEWBIES" thread. Good score!

The seller was tommyrazor. I had a good experience, but someone said that his shipping to Canadia is high. (oops, sorry, Canada). He is truly a gentleman, though.

He does have some sweet razors.
I bought a Case travel razor from him, quite pleased with it, and in fact shaved with it this morning.

that was me who had a bad experience with him. He quoted me inconsistent and incresingly higher prices for shipping and when i questioned him about it he told me not to bid and i have done just that.
very unprofessional in my mind. but hey, he has some cool stuff

I'm sorry you had a bad experience with him. Different strokes, I guess. Maybe we can all have a perfect luck streak some day.

There are more pics on the eBay site, but I don't feel like uploading them.
