Thread: Doc forbids str8 shaves

See. It is just this sort of unforseen incident that warrants a large collection of 'shave ready' straight razors.... About how long for recoop? About a month, maybe two? That is 60 honed and ready to go razors! That way there is no need to strop till you are fixed up! See if someone can make you a 2-month box for 60 razors.
I'm thinking if you are a good, you might be able to even swing this train of thought for a broken leg too!
Sorry to hear about the shoulder....I think your mind will be on that more so than your razors.

Thanked: 4NOT shave? Yegods! In a month's time I'd look like Sasquatch. You'd only see my eyes and nose for all the fur. Nope, not gonna do it. Wouldn't be prudent. I'm hoping to score a non-folding Feather str8 soon, so great shaves can be mine again. A test run with a plastic knife confirmed the mono-hand shavability of this type of razor. Besides which, I don't have a 'traditional' Japanese str8 yet.

Thanked: 4A fine group of men.
I'd just like to thank all of the brothers of the blade for their public and private offers of assistance. You are all true gentlemen, in the finest sense of the word. I am honored to be in such company.

Thanked: 4Rich:
I'm single, and can't even afford to rent a wife, much less acquire one.
