I am with Phrank. Have too much and have been passing some on. Lots to fix up. If it ain't right, I don't buy.
Ebay and such is loaded with mostly junk. Not as it was a decade ago. Time to enjoy some restoration.
Still doing brushes and soaps as I can, although I still have a probable lifetime supply.
Almost full circle. I feel for those who have the razor bug these days. Good things are pricey. Smoking deals are few and far between."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 1184I think I may be in the contention here. Last purchase 2/19/15. I have honed the skill of running the price up but not winning. By the way Tom, Pixel, when do my kick back checks start coming in :<0)

Thanked: 4206Seems I too am in a lull, or hiatus from winning, or even searching much this early spring.
My searches now only provide hits for filly' and Japanese vintage blades. The good looking ones always seem to jump out of my comfort level before the last day bidding, as such I probably will not be getting anything razor relevant till maybe the summer. And probably only in some antique shops, if lucky.
Fortunate to have some fine vintage WandB's, a greaves, an SRP Williams, and a few delightfully sharp German and Swedish blades in my collection now so am set for a few lifetimes from a needs perspective.
Comes down to the wants, and the hunt. So I'm in for a March respite. Heck already half way there. Spending more time in the shop and out in the bush instead.

Since I have fallen out I have a location to enable others. Shaving style.com just north of the border has some vintage straights that may be worth a look. Most have not been restored and the prices reflect this.
