Default Japanese barber shave...for a woman!?

This made me curious, so I watched...shuddered...cringed...then sighed in relief.

I wish I could understand more of what is said...My japanese is pretty rusty

Strange, her face and eyelids didn't seem that hairy to me.

That's what made me cringe. He shaved right above her bloodly eyelids

This video was posted in another thread a while back, though I can't find it now. Anyway, I speculated that taking the razor over places that had no hair, such as the eyes, would serve as a sort of exfoliation.

Also, the Japanese can be a little strange sometimes. Just look at how much effort they put into their toilets. Perhaps this eccentricity is why I am drawn to their culture so much.

Do you mean effort in using them? I'm told that it is more sanitary (seeing as how you have no contact with the toilet.

(it must be so good for your thighs...I hated it personally)

I think Matt means the effort they put into inventing new toilets. A Japanese toilet is something to behold. They have fully automated toilets. MP3 players built in, bidet function plus blow-dry after you finish so you don't need to touch or wipe, seat warmer, all sorts of gadgets. The console by the side of the toilet looks like that from a fighter jet!
