Quirky was the key clue. I'm not quirky, yes you are, no I'm not, yes you are, no I'm not....

I'm schizophrenic (not quirky) and I always win the argument!

OK, there's something fishy about that write up:

Do these gentlemen have anything in common? Well, yes. Their writing is grammatically correct, without spelling mistakes, well organized, and clear. They present facts with specifics, not generalities (“I like my water at 125 degrees F. in my shaving bowl.” “I spend 15 minutes shaving during the week, 19 to 22 minutes on Saturdays.”) They always cite sources of information. They’re always positive, respectful, refined, helpful, and totally honest about themselves. ...
Grammatically correct with no spelling mistakes??!!

    Well organised and clear??!!

As for the rest, it is clear the author either didn't go into or couldn't see the latest political thread in the Conversation forum.

Or perhaps he is talking about another forum? Can't be B&B, they are almost illiterate over there. Must be a German site.

I really do wonder how we're viewed by the outside world. Lol brush fetishists and the like? To my friends, am I that guy who likes to talk about razors like an obsession? Either way i don't care. My lady likes it about me and it's a fun hobby!

I agree. Who cares what they think. I have friends who think I'm an idiot for having all these razors and even shaving with one. I also have a lot more friends who think it's intriguing and want to know more.

When it comes down to it, we will die with the most toys!!!

I bet the outside world is interested something we would view as ridiculous.

I never saw anyone post here about a freezer-prepared post-shave towel. Sounds fun! I totally hate the soaking of the brush thing. Use a wet mop?
Some other stuff is ridiculous. Oh well....The media!
