What I have learned about straight razors is, there is always someone who wants a specific type of razor more than you do.

Wow, one of the things I truly like about this site is seeing a razor I have not seen before (which is most of them) but the maker's marque on your William Hawcroft is just about the most beautiful and interesting marque I have seen, everything about it including the crazy way they hyphenated Shef.......field......Tom you have an endless supply of rabbits to pull out of the hat....Thanks for the post."Call me Ishmael"
