Watch your wallet.
RAD might happen earlier with this one.
PS give that VDH brush some time, it hasn't been used enough to get it broken in. That boar brush just gets better with time.Mike

i know what you mean. my son (i think he has maybe 10 chin hairs) actually got me started in wet shaving. i've surpassed him in RAD but i gave him a straight for christmas this year which he is getting quite good with. Still used his 51 super speed most of the time as he's in college and doesn't want to mess with the maintenance of a straight.

Kids. In a hurry to go nowhere. He'll change with time.
My nephew wants to try the str8s. I told him and his mom (my sister) i got the razors, you buy the strop. I'll teach him. Haven't heard anything since.Mike

If he were to start learning a straight right now, with little whispy whiskers, think how easy it will be for him as they start to change to real whiskers.
Plus, you can get him a two band silver tip for Christmas instead of some stupid computer game.
Your lucky to be able to teach him these finer points of life.Last edited by apipeguy; 06-07-2015 at 10:56 PM.

My son is only 13 and about to turn 14. He has been cursed with my family heavy facial hair. He was starting to look like "Shaggy" from the classic cartoons so I started talking with him about shaving. I gave him the option and he chose to DE shave. He has only done it a couple of times but it was a great father/son moment giving him his first DE razor and teaching him how to use it. Too many things get overlooked in the "Faster" world. We forget how to spend time with our family/friends. Enjoy the time and discussions with your sons!
