If the blade isn't wiping the whiskers off without effort, switch to another razor immediately!

edit: and I just realized that I missed the bigger point: I thought the SOTD was for us to show off equipment, tools, and techniques and drive our fellow members green with envy for our implements and / or BBS nick + irritation-free shaves
