What's your favorite Henckel
For those who use the Henckel razors what's your favorite. I kind of like the older twin Henckel carbon blades. I just got through shaving with a #50 squarre point that I got from a friend. It does shave very nice. I really don't know how many different grinds sizes points that Henckels made but so far the ones I have have not been disappointing. If I find another 50 like I have I will try to win it. I watch eBay a lot and have not seen one like it yet. Anyway for those who shave with Henckels what's your favorite.

Thanked: 4827Isn't that like picking a favorite color or a favorite song or favorite child? My great grandfathers razor is a Henckels so because of the heirloom factor I have to pick that one. I have a 72V and an 11V that are great 1/4 hollows and some 14's and 17's that are great full hollows. I do like them all.

Of the several that I have....for shaving, probably these 2:
8/8
6/8
For uniqueness and collectibility:
250th Anniversary Edition, both iterations.

As a relative newcomer to the world of straight razor shaving I currently only have a couple, both of which are JA Henckels.
A 50 1/2 and 78 1/2Tony

Everyone has there own ideas about almost everything. when it comes to razors for what ever reason there are some that to me just feel right in the hand and when the way it feels combines with the shave that it gives well that one is put to the side as a go to razor. I will try all that I acquire some I keep and some I let find a new home. Henckels like many other razor brands out there made many different sizes styles . carbon and stainless. I know that when it comes to the sentimental value well that takes preference. I currently have henckels ranging from 5/8 to 8/8 and they all have there pros and cons but so far the best feeling one is a toss up between the 50 and the 50 1/2 in carbon. But i'm still looking or should I say chasing the perfect razor for me. I assume I will be doing that for a long long time. Just looking for different ideas.

Thanked: 4827I am not sure I will find the perfect razor, but I may be able to come up with the perfect combination. Sometimes I have different tastes than others. It changes all the time. I do have a favorite brand, but even at that I do like to use other razors outside of that too.

I favor my Henckels 50, 415, 401 and Torpedo. They all perform equally well.
