    Default Leresche Archive

    Hello Gentlemen,

I have been collecting Leresche razors for 2 years now, and I've started cataloguing them on a website (much like "Mr-Razor" for Gillette, although not as big and well-referenced !). As I am missing a lot of info on this French brand and their razors, I would like to ask for your help, if you have Leresche razors / sets / ads I don't have or show on my website, please don't hesitate to PM me.

This website is first and foremost here to help you identify your Leresche razor, so if you need any info I would happy to try and help you !

So without further ado, my website is now available for the shaving enthusiast's eye :

    old-school-stuff

It's still in construction, and it's only in French for now, but it'll get better. Not all of my Leresche razors are on there, but they will be ! (The straights section is the most up-to-date page ) Also, as I stumbled upon other catalogues and pricelists, I found they made things WAY more complicated for listing and referencing these razors. So my cataloguing centers mainly on "branded" Leresche razors for now, as the variations from before this were just crazy (the razors were unmarked, so it's near impossible to know if this or that razor is a Leresche or not...).

The straight razors (what interests us more, here) are shown here.

If you have questions regarding the website or Leresche razors, don't hesitate to shoot ! And I didn't know if this subforum was the best place to put this thread, so if you feel it would be better elsewhere please tell me ^^

Thanks gents, have a nice day !

I recently visited your website for information about the Leresche Radieux I obtained 2 weeks ago from France. You did a great job in sharing your knowledge about Leresche
Here some pics of my Radieux.

Hi, I know your post was ages ago but I' can't seem to find the archive link anymore. I've just come into possession of a Leresche Lumineux frame back stamped STGD on the back of the tang and was looking for some more info. Not sure if the scales have been replaced Thanks

Hi, yes the link is broken, sorry about this. I changed the name of the site and realized only after that the redirection was NOT automatic... so I lost quite a bit. Anywho, the site is still visible here :

    https://ossbrocante.wixsite.com/lere...eresche-evides

The system is a bit wierd, it sometimes redirects to the home page, no idea why. I have been wanting to redo the website for some time now, it is possible that it will be a completely different (but greater) project. If you have any question don't hesitate to ask, and of course we always like to see some pictures

Thanks for that, had a quick look and found my razor however the cream scales (Bakelite maybe) have been replaced with what looks like horn on mine. Not sure on the age unfortunately tho I visit every year my french is conversational and my readings poor. I'd love to share some pics but this is my first time on a forum and I'm struggling to upload photos from my phone, yeh I'm 48
