Thread: mySOTD smartphone application-poll

Hi!! I'm Eleonora, a system engineering student at Politecnico di Milano.
I decide with my two colleagues to partecipate at SCORE 2016, a student contest on software engineering. (SCORE 2016: Student Contest on Software Engineering)
The project we would like to develop is mySOTD (SCORE 2016 Project: mySOTD), an application for smartphone about shaving (e.g. tools , history of mySOTD...).
Before proceeding to create the App, we have created a poll to understand the necessity of the client and we would ask the members of the forum if they would like to partecipate to the poll to help us.

Your poll is nothing more than age, would you recommend to friend, gender, and country. It provides no opportunity "to understand the necessity of the client." For that reason, and since is a first post, I have a hard time considering this to be nothing but spam.

The first question is about gender, if you answer male this are in order all the other questions:
-Age
-Country
-Operating system
-Interest in the latest trend regarding apps
-Application on smartphone use daily ( if yes which type)
-Interest in the application mySOTD
-Importance of the ritual of shaving in your daily life
-interest in the new shaving products on the market
-Pay-attention to the choice of products
-shaving frequency
-interest in this functionality in the App:

and why is it so very different if you answer as female?

Because we consider this App for man.
As a girl i'm not expert in the subject,in my opinion I can say to my male friends that is a good idea for an application,but not answer to specific question.
Moreover everyone can answer the poll (I use the same poll with my friends on Facebook and everyone can open it) so we have different questions for men and women.
