    The email seems a bit weird...although for what it's worth, I recently bought two razors from philoritx and everything was legit.

    That's even more reason to take the time to send it off to ebay fraud. Don't forget to turn on full header display in your email prior to copying to send to ebay.

    @Azjoe,

    Just for my information (and possibly someone else's as well?): what is full header display?

    Most email packages allow you to turn on/off the display of all the details in the email header... here's how to do it for some common email readers: http://www.st-andrews.ac.uk/its/help...ders_old.shtml

    Headers provide the details of how the email was routed from the sender to the recipient. This sometimes gives clues as to the origination of bogus emails.

    I seem to be getting these scam messages every time i loose an auction where the selling price is above $100US...

    Just forwardthe entire message, preferably withthe headers displayed, like Joe says, to: [email protected] and they will usually get back to you within 24 hours... both at you email address and in your ebay messages.
    Be just and fear not.

    This is what set my alarm bells ringing
    "Your last auctioned bid prior to being outbided is taken into consideration as eBay policy automatically proclaims you to be the winner by default."

    Even if outbided was a real word, it would be spelt outbidded. It should read "Your last auction bid prior to being outbid"

    Its amazing how people are trying to scam others these days.

    Bad grammar, spelling and syntax always seem to be a tell tail for a scam...

    It's as though in the desperate attempt to sound official the scammer confuses them self.
