I already had a beard and moustache, so I couldnt.

And actually, knowing this was coming, I started growing my handlebar moustache back a couple of weeks ago.

If I am cheating, oh well! I have still raised $275, and bringing awareness to men's health!

I too, already have a stash and goatee so I won't be posting weekly pics. of anything. I won't be shaving it off anytime soon so that eliminates me from the contest too. That's ok...I just wanted to participate and donate to a super worthy cause.

I'm with petercp4e on excluding myself from the contest portion -

The goal of Movember is to start the conversation, raise awareness and raise money for Men's heath issues.

Movember motivated me to not only grow my Mo from the former "Military Trim" to something more flamboyant...
It has empowered me to use those moments when people would make comments (all random and positive - from people on the street, in airports and restaurants and of all ages) to say "Thank you so much, you are very kind - I have a Mo to honor my Grandfather and to help raise awareness for Men's health issues...

Recently at a business dinner with couples one of the women made a comment about my Mo. My wife chimed in with a story about walking on the sidewalk during a recent vacation at a very Hip and Trendy Florida urban area - and three young Ladies with tattoos, facial jewelry and "dramatic" hairstyles stopped us to tell me how much they liked my Mo.
I complemented them on their amazing tats and parted with - "remember to support Movember"

This week in preparation I decided to step up the ask by ordering cards to hand out:

    Back
    Name: Mo Card Back.jpg
Views: 230
Size: 28.1 KB

BTW that front graphic is one of the many downloads that you can get from your Mo Space on line.
Take a moment to pursue some of the info, suggestions and support material that they have assembled.

My Gastroenterologist told me that they believe the work that Katie Couric has done for Colon Cancer screening/awareness was saving 50,000 lives a year in the U.S. alone.
When you stop and think about the impact that has not only on those people but their families and friends you have to be amazed and inspired.

In eleven years Movember has raised $650 Million USD for Mens health issues with 80% of that going directly to programs. https://us.movember.com/about/money

So no matter how you participate...Let's do this!
    Support Movember!
