    Default MOVEMBER 2015

    Movember is almost upon us once again, so it is time to team up and raise some cash to improve men's health

    As you are probably aware Movember is a global fundraising effort during the month of November for various mens health causes. In the past years participants would grow a mo(ustache) or other facial hair and use the conversations it spurs to raise awareness and funds for supporting research of ;

    Prostate cancer.
    Testicular cancer.
    Poor mental health.
    Physical inactivity.

    This year, aside from mo-growing you can raise funds by doing some exercise, or both.

    You can read more about it at http://monetwork.co/srp

    I know that whilst not being over keen on sporting lip cabbage I do need to loose some weight. Of course I will be growing a moustache regardless, but I am definitely keen for some motivation to get off by bum and do something.

    This year we will again join Movember.

    If you want to be in a team, be a captain for the SRP team in your country, or even join our global network as a solo runner let me know and I will fill you in on what to do. I should also add that if there is demand we can also have multiple teams from one country.

    All members who join up for Movember 2015 will get the Movember 2015 badge when they provide a link to their mospace in this present thread.

    Lastly, this year we will also have a special contest for the most original mo.

    Haven't joined a team yet! Not quite sure if there is one for SRP Canada.

    I dunno I got about 5 days growth already. Whats really funny is the Swmbo is offering me a massive donation to shave the damn thing off before Ive even started. Im holding my ground atm but if fund raising is the goal I may get more cash by doing the opposite. I have never had a moustache. I did grow a beard once like 25 years ago but that was short lived. Wifey says im starting to look like Josef Stalin and she hates my look lol. Which only makes me want to grow it more. What shall a man do?

    As whoever says, you should be clean shaven either tonight or tomorrow morning

    They all seem to say that because they don't 'know' us with the beard so they will say just about anything to get it how they want it.
