Thanked: 39I've had a mustache since I could grow one, 18?, I grew a beard last year and it made me look like I was 70 years old, (solid grey) I'm only 54 so I shaved it off.

I have never shaved my upper lip except maybe in my mid teens that I don't remember. I was married for a long time maybe 18 years or so before my wife saw me without a beard. I only shave for work and have a goatee because I can still pass the respirator test and I got irritated with my supervisor.

Thanked: 1185I've had a moustache most of my life (even before I could grow a decent one). It's pretty much been a constant except for brief periods of military necessity, losing a bet, or yielding to a nagging spouse. Whenever I did shave it off, I wanted it back (and in fact grew it back) almost immediately. Military necessity and a nagging spouse are no longer an issue (I retired and she got over it). A little over a year ago I cut off my stash after losing a bet with a lady at work concerning the sex of her unborn child. It's back now and my stash will never again be put up in a wager. I look like Sling Blade without it.

Thanked: 580Have been wondering that myself. Havent had a beard for 15 years. Did movember a few times but the itch drove me crazy. The upper lip was a challenge, so i had a plastic surgeon remove my nose...

I have only worn facial hair twice in my life. first time I was about 30 ish and I had a full beard for about a year that morphed into a goatee. The next time was the Stache as part of Movember. That month was a basically a war with my spouse and just about everyone else in my family and work, all telling me it robs me of what good looks I have left lol. I do love shaving though

Because edging them daily with a straight is so much fun. When I started using a straight my wife complained that each day my Van Dyke was a little smaller.

Thanked: 56I had a beard when I was still using cartridges. I did shave my beard off once with my straight just to do it, and it was fine. Just prefer my appearance with a beard.
