Where on the Forum would I find....
Where on the Forum would I find close up (magnified) photos of razor edges. I would also like to know what to look for when viewing these photos. Thanks for your help, I hope this thread has been placed in the correct category. Freddie

Thanked: 3795In the honing section. PCM has done some pretty good magnified photos recently.

Here is a blast from the past by Tim Zowada ;

Edit ; This thread has a link to Tim Zowada's current site and the edges under the microscope he posted in 2007 are no longer there, as far as I can see.
If you want to see how a bunch of guys can get 'serious' debating about edges, honing, and microscopes, there are more than 10 pages of replies. Most of those guys are no longer around, but it is interesting reading nonetheless. No photos unfortunately.Last edited by JimmyHAD; 03-22-2016 at 03:07 AM.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Did you search "edge pics" in the little box top right of screen ?

This is the latest one that is currently ongoing and about a little bit more advanced honing of a ver worn razor.It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!
