Thanked: 0Sharpening is Therapeutic?
Hi,
Im very new to SR shaving, been a DE shaver for a good few years now, but I'm certainly no stranger to sharp objects, knives, axes etc....
Is it just me or does anyone else get a real satisfaction out of getting a really good hair popping edge on something and find the whole process therapeutic??
I mean, solidarity, your favourite chill out music, a cheeky beer, and away on the hone you go!

Thanked: 154Hi Ian,
Oh, absolutely! The peaceful contemplation accompanied by some fine music and a good beer is wonderful therapy.
Cheers,

Are you old enough to remember the introduction to the old TV show Wide World Of Sports ?
For me honing is like that ....... "the thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat" ...... no joke.Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
