The smaller razor is a SuperSpeed. It's a fairly mild DE. The Gillettee Slims are supposed to be good shavers. I use the previous model, the Fatboy and have been very pleased with it.
Make sure to check to see if the mechanisms work. I think you are supposed to adjust when the gate is open, but not when the gate is closed. Sometimes the adjustment are broken because the knob is turned when the gate is closed.
