You stop by giving your R.A.D. over to another impulse that needs feeding,,,,, like brushes or hones.

What has happened to me is that, over time, I have become way more picky about what razors I like. I'm at the point where I still look but find it very hard to come up with a razor that even makes it onto my watch list. At this point I am much more attracted to custom builts. I currently have about 60 razors in my collection and rotate through using all of them. Haven't bought one in quite a while now.

I don't recommend going with my route. What really slowed down my razor buying was first I got a new truck and then my employer started having payroll issues. When Iget paid and how much is very questionable. My employer has a growing debt with me. At some point they will come clean, but in the meantime it has me quite restricted as far as disposable income goes.

What you need to do is specialize. Stop buying willy nilly. Decide on a brand or an era or a size or a style or a nationality or some unique thing. That should slow you down and give you a collection that really means something.

You know what they say "jack of all trades and master of none". That can apply to a collection too.

another alternative is to delete the link to SRP and all other shaving sites/vendors from your technology devices and never visit any again, just buy SRs you come across in stores!

By the way asking your question here is like asking a bunch of drunks how to quit drinking.

Stick to a certain brand didn't really help me.. It just made the hunt so much more fun!
