Thanked: 72Lazy Whiskers: A blessing or a curse?
My whisker growth is so slow that the most I can possibly shave is once every two days and even then, I don't have much growth. Really, I don't "need" to shave until three days have gone by.
When I used to shave with a plastic piece-of-crap, I LOVED my lazy whiskers because I hated shaving. Now that I wet shave with a 6/8 Kamisori, shaving is the highlight of my day and I can't get enough. But, as much as I wanna go in the bathroom right now and heat up my scuttle, I don't have anything to shave.
Anyone else have lazy whiskers?D-rings, not handles

Thanked: 3795How old are you? I only ask because whisker growth can be slower in younger men but increases in the twenties. If you already are past your twenties, maybe you could start shaving your legs?

Thanked: 55I'm sort of in that category now. My facial hair is now grey (almost white) so when I get a really close shave I hardly need to shave the next day or at least it's harder to see that I need to shave.
When I use a DE to shave I do it every day but when I'm in a straight razor phase I do it every other day usually. For whatever reason, when I shave with a straight razor I like for there to be a little more growth before I shave.

well then your young, or kinda lucky, I have to shave everyday, straight or DE, sometimes that sucks, I enjoy using a straight but its still shaving,, id like to go a few days in between, as I was retired I would go a couple days but I,m so used to being clean shaven for my old job that I just don't like being scraggly. now I did let the Van dyke grow long ,, go figure Tc

took me into my late thirties before i had sufficient beard growth to shave every other day. even now growing a beard would be slow and splotchy. with light colored hair (grey) and a job that doesn't require looking neat i could get by with every three days but choose to do every two. i tell my SWMBO "you got to mow it if you want to grow it".
