I'm so happy to have run across this text. It's probably the most detailed I've seen and fills in some gaps left by the other barber manuals.

I'm also glad to be able to introduce it to the SRP community. I hope that this text, in addition to the SRP data base, answers many questions and helps to build many successes.

    Have fun!

I agree completely. Since I still consider myself a newbie I am grateful for this document as it does answer many of the questions I had from reading the other barber manual.

I wonder if there is anyway to pull the honing/stropping section out and put it in the library.

Scott, thanx a lot for pointing this book. Great information there, and a must read piece.

Ha, take a look at the last paragraph of the first page, and thank my ancestors, the ancient Macedonians, for bringing you the pleasure of shaving Without them, you'd all look like savages

Unhappy Anyone have a download they can repost?

The link for this manual is dead. It sounds like an amazing read. Has anyone downloaded it and could they be so kind as to re-post it?

    Thanks!

    Greg

The link is working fine for me as well (using Opera). You're not clicking the PDF link and having it open the file, instead of downloading, right? Because it's a big file and it would take a while before you'd notice anything happening if you did that.

Y'know, I kinda stuck my nose up at this at first thinking all the wisdom on the board was enough. Now I'm really glad I downloaded this! It's got such good tidbits that I want to print it out and bind it
