I was thinking about it, and I was wondering where everyone goes locally to get their 'fix'? I think this could be especially helpful for newbies, like me, that are still contemplating their first razor/strop/etc, or would just like a place to go (aside from THIS vast resource, of course!) that might have someone with a little knowledge to help get things like technique right.

What got me going on this was the fact that I have no idea where to look in Phoenix for straight, or even DE razors and accessories, aside from the knife stores around here which, by the way, don't have any razors in stock, and very few other supplies, like strops!

I know most people seem to take care of business online, but I'm one of those weird guys that actually likes to check stuff out in person whenever possible!

So here it is - where do YOU go for local relief?

So far as I know, Rhode Island has nowhere local to turn to so all of my shopping is done online. The only exceptions would be more hair related like Clubman shampoo and maybe some hair tonic which I can get from my barber. Everything straight related is online.
