    Default Three ready to shave!

Thanks to cudarunner I now have three shave ready straight razors. I have not tried them yet. They look and feel
Great. I may wait tell after the meet on the 14th in Denver so I can learn to strop properly first.....maybe! Any way many thanks to Roy for the good work. One was my grand fathers dating back to 1906 when it was purchased in Omaha.

If you try them now you can have 3 shaves before you have to strop at all!

You'll probably also get more out of the meet if you're tried straight razor shaving before and therefore have some questions to ask.

Ok I have shaved three times just down to jaw line. Both the razors I have used are very nice. No pull, gets even better each time as I learn the correct angle. Thanks so much for the shave ready razors Roy. They are excellent!

Good luck with your journey. You have clearly been looking in the beginners section and watching videos.

It sounds like you have started the right way. Keep it up and you will soon be shaving like a pro.

Kudos on the razors too, I wish I had one of my grandfather's razors, truly something to cherish and the fact that you can use it is an added bonus.

I'm glad that you like the edges I'm also Very Glad that you can make the Denver Meet. You will learn more in a few hours than you can from months of reading and watching videos.

Be sure to take at least one razor and your strop. You'd be surprised at how many new guys don't properly strop and that makes the edge go to hell.

Drive safe going to and from, listen and feel free to ask questions while your at the Garlic Knot.

Oh, and enjoy the food I hear it quite good.
