Less pressure as someone said already. And, I think you will find yourself more comfortable shaving with the Koraat razor since both sides may be used (also helps if you learn with both hands instead of just your dominant one). Good luck!--Mark

I've been at it with straights for some time now, but I too am new to kamisoris. I've had the best results when actually laying the kami flat against my face. I'm in the east bay. If you need any help with honing, send me a PM.
