I am sad to say I don't own a custom brush from Bill. I do remember from time to time telling him if he would give up retirement he might become a household name like Thater. His response was he enjoyed making brushes as a hobby...the end. For those lucky enough to to own one, enjoy and post it.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

What most of us didn't know about Bill was that shaving brushes were not his only style of brushes. Bill was well known for his cosmetic brushes of very different types of knots. Makeup artists used his brushes to cover the faces of more than a few Hollywood residents. At the time of his passing, there were several of these in the middle of completion. These were the long thin style brushes that we mostly relate to from the television and movie's.

even though you be well armed, better keep an eye on the loom strop, John, it was the only thing I couldn't lay hands on,, very impressive collection and yes his makeup brushes are the finest,, he made 2 for my wife that came from vintage snooker balls and they are my wifes cherished items Tc

Gee I miss the old Curmudgeon!
I am fortunate to have corresponded with, and purchased things from Bill.
The Razor platform is the only finished goods that i have from him.
Lying flat as a platform and vertical for a straight or 'nother view prop. From my files:

I have 2 examples of Bill's work.
The first was a sort of collaboration. He hooked me up with an ebony and ivory handle for my project........http://straightrazorpalace.com/brush...eus-brush.html
So as he would accept no payment, I sent him a 30mm 2-band knot and a HMW knot for his future creations. He bitched that those knots were expensive.
Told him I wanted him to have them....
Not to be outdone, of course, IN the mail comes this beauty.
My favorite MDC brush! http://straightrazorpalace.com/brush...ixelfixed.html
Bill was a good guy. Proud to have been a friend.
