Just got word from my dads wife that he is watching vids and is getting ready to try SR Shaving. Just getting up the nerve i guess. She said hes got all the stuff i sent laid out on the counter in the bathroom and is very happy with the shave gift i sent him. Ill give him a call in a couple days to see if he has any questions and see if i can get him to join up here. I know you all would do him a world of good. Hes just not much on computers so id have to tell him how to go about dealing with a forum.

Sence hes been retire for over 25 years i bet hes got some time on his hands so maybe he would enjoy leaning the restore prosses. Hes always working in the garage on something.

Just wanted to share in my excitement of the old man possibly joining in shaving the old ways.

Awesome update, make sure he has an alum block on hand and some tissues. And around 10,000 forum members on pins and needles...

I really dont think he needs the added stress of his wife recording him. When i had my first SR Shave i locked the door to be sure nobody bothered me. I will be happy for just a report that he didnt slice his throat. Ha.

When Parker joined here at the age of (I think) 14 his family had recorded his first straight razor shave. I vividly remember hearing his little sister saying "You're going to cut yourself"!

Nice to have such encouraging words.

For some reason that video vanished from YouTube and Parker doesn't know why.
