Clippercide
Well i did the search function and didnt notice any mention if this stuff will be ok if it gets on Buffalo Horn. Does anyone have any experience on that? I would basically lightly spray the blade and the hinge point, possibly getting some on the horn at the hinge. Seems clippercide is a pretty quick way to take care of the metal.

Isn't clipperside alcohol based?

FWIW, I've sprayed clippercide on dozens of razors without incident, including horn (although not buffalo horn, specifically). And yes, clippercide is 46% isopropanol alcohol. A phenol compound is the main disinfectant ingredient.
I like clippercide because of the anti-rusting agent.

You can buy it at Sally's Beauty Supply. About 6 bucks a can and can use it on any type of metal grooming supply. I use it on my electric barber clippers/nail clippers and scissors. Just wasnt sure about the horn on my soon to arrive razor.
