forum problem
this problem started about 4days ago. wondering if anyone knows a fix or is experiencing the same problem.
loads completely fine, everything is perfect.
when i go to the forums and they load in the middle of the page it is like they only take up the left 2/3 of my web browser. they used to be full size but now they are shrunk. its like i shrank the size of the column in an excel file so that its only 2/3's of my page now.
as im typing this i can see the row of ad's on the left and then only 1/2 of the typing area before it shifts itself right so that i can see the right 1/2 with emoticons but now i can't see the left 1/2 of the page. no idea why this happened or how.
anyways, anyone having this problem or has had this problem and knows the fix?
IE 6
windows XP pro w/ sp2
and no other sites do this.. only SRP and only on the forums.

This was happening to me, too, but it seems to be resolved now. I think the problem was the ad format. Some of the ads seemed to be horizontal instead of vertical, and it pushed the rest of the content over. I think the mods are working on it, if it's not already fixed.

dw,
since you're the mod i figured your post was sincere and not meant as a funny.
so... its exactly the same. nothing has changed and nothing is fixed.
still only loading LEFT 2/3's of the page like a big ol excel column thats been shrunk.

ps. now that i am lookin at the situation a bit more. did you alter or recently change the FRAME size in which the forums load within the main container file? did you change to % based instead of exact pixel size? it looks as though the main container numbers have been changed. even if i stretch out the size of the webbrowser it just expands white blank area outside of the forum frame size.
this sort of stuffs:
<frameset cols="30%, 70%">
<frame src="ads.html">
<frame src="forums.html">
</frameset>Last edited by jscott; 07-05-2007 at 11:54 PM.

Thanked: 328.... Hmm... That might be it.. We don't use a frame anymore.. All forums links should be to http://straightrazorpalace.com.
So update your bookmarks, and if you've found a link on the site that still uses a frame, please let me know..
Or I might totally be missing at.. At that point, send a screenshot if you can..
Thanks
David
Edit.. I just found a link on the main page, in the user control area that links to the site in a wrapper.. I'll work on coding a change for that.. In the meantime, just access the site from the menu at the top of the screen.. Or from http://straightrazorpalace.comLast edited by dwessell; 07-06-2007 at 01:10 AM. Reason: Found something new.

It's still a problem! It's mainly only an annoyance but an annoyance nevertheless (Or, perhaps, alwaysthemore?). What gives?
