Thread: After a Long Hiatus

Thought I would just throw this message out to people to say I am back to the forums. It has been a long and busy a$$ year, but here I am.

One thing i will say is I need some help with trying to hone a Swiss Army knife I got from my grandfather. Sadly he passed away April 21st from his battle of cancer (liver, lung and pancreas ). We knew it was coming so it was a matter of spending time with him, and I got his knife out of it.

I also went and honed my razors with him as he watched and we talked about different things.

So there you have it, Pilot is back.

P.S. I will be visiting England for those ppl over the pond that want to help me find some more steel for my travels back to Canada would be greatly appreciated.

My condolences for your grandfather. It sounds like you were able to spend some nice times with him before he passed away.

Sorry, I've only ever honed razors, so I can't help with knives.
