Default Barberians of Copenhagen straight razor and strop

Today I saw a straight razor of the brand Barberians in a Matas shop in Silkeborg, Denmark. Barberians also carry a strop, stropping paste and shaving bowl. I had a look at the goods that were living in a glass showcase. The strop looked a bit cheapish, just as in the picture. As Matas is a run of the mill drugstore in Denmark I did not bother asking the ladies any questions.

Just wanted to share. Maybe someone will be able to tell us more.

I suppose that is a straight translation from Danish to English. The German direct translation to English is shaving knife.

It is. I think we should be happy they provide an English webpage next to the Danish one.
According to this website the blade is made of type 316 Japanese steel. https://groomin.dk/products/straight-razor

Kind of looks like a Gold Dollar to me.

With respect to translations, my favorite is the French phrase "coupe choux" which refers to a straight razor but translates more literally to "cabbage cutter."
