    When I used cartridges, they never lasted a month. I would go through 2-3 a week.

    You were using better cartridges than I was used to in that case, I would manage 4-5 shaves with a Mach 3. Now, I wonder how many I'll get from the Edwardian era Sheffield Steel Slater Bros Straight with ivory scales I bought last night? DOH! I forgot, I mustn't live in the past!

    Maybe if one shaves every day and had very whispey bum fluff facial growth, one could possibly get a month out of a cart...
    But not this old silverback...Routinely killed 2 carts every shave for years. I blame my great great grandfather...
