Recommend me an electric razor/trimmer that will leave me some stubble
Hello gents, it's been a while since I've been on here
I'm basically in need or an electric razor or beard trimmer that will leave me with a close stubble (think Jason Statham stubble).
I've tried numerous trimmers and they all produce an uneven trim.
I love my straight razors and double edges, but sometimes I just want a quick trim and leave the stubble, hence my search. I'm open to any recommendations! Thanks!

Thanked: 220I don't think you'll find too much advice about shaving with electricity from these gents!
Good luck though!

Cant help ya. I do you a trimmer. It has a guard and different settings. Wife got it from wally world for me years ago. Keeps the stash and beard short. I like short. But never tried to trim to short stubble. I'd just shave it then.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Use a quality barbers shear, with no guard. Or, shave once a week.....presto, you have stubble.

I shave around every 72 hrs. On the third day, I have close, even stubble. Then it all gets wiped clean again. Some ladies like BBS, others like a little stubble, so here, I can have it both ways. ;-)

I have a Gillette Pro Glide Fusion I use for beard and mustache maintenance. It's over 5 years old and has done me well.
Not sure how much stubble you want. But it does have a guard that's a 1Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

if you want the Jason S. look you have to have his beard,, what you see is 15 minutes after he shaves! and I,m just going to say it,,, not really the right forum for this question. myself I just don't shave again the next day and its the "Look" but my wife doesn't really like a beard rash from snuggling up,, plus being part Gorrilla I got all the rugged handsome looks I need without going ungroomed Tc

I've used both Philips Norelco and Wahl trimmers for the goatee.
They both have adjustable guides. They are rechargeable. They are cheap and work ok for a year or two, then die.
I think I paid $16.00 for the Wahl one that I'm using now.
