Much prefer the B&W"But you're not as confused as him are you. I mean, it's not your job to be as confused as Nigel. "

Thanked: 3The first one seems to be slightly harsher on the eyes, being all yellow. Well... At least that kind of yellow on the default background. It's not as bad as like a really bright neon yellow, but it's still pretty bad. For smaller things (avatars and some sigs), consistent colors are good. On much bigger items (some sigs and wallpapers), contrast is good. It's the same reason why shorter men should wear solid colors, while taller men should wear colors with a deeper contrast. Has to do with how easy it will be on the eyes (don't quite remember where I read that).
Sidenote: Oh wow! Another pilot here? I only have my private... which reminds me I need to get my currency...

Thanked: 3Oh man, you got paid to fly? That's a great deal! I'm not really into gliders. Haven't flown one myself, but idea isn't really to my liking. I'd like a night, commercial, and ifr rating. Once I get the commercial and ifr, I might try being a CFI. Although I've been told I'm not a good teacher at all... When I helped my peers with math or science I would need a "translator" to translate my jargon to layman-ish terms... Or maybe I could get ratings required to fly business jets. Now THAT would be absolutely stellar!
