Thread: From All of Us to All of You

Once again the holidays are upon us. It seems like a few weeks ago I was writing this message for 2016. Time does fly doesn’t it?

It also seems each time I write this I say things are bad all around. Something out there is going to get your “goat” be it politics, the economy or social issues. A search on the internet will reveal a plethora of self-help schemes and stress coping avenues. Do you feel as though you are suffering from PTSD just dealing with issues not only in your personal life but the world around you too?

Well, we here at SRP are very lucky indeed. Personally, I go into the bedroom and close the door, put on some good music and start with a good hot towel followed by a generous dose of lather from one of my favorite soaps and then a few minutes of stropping for that Zen experience. Then a slow relaxing shave followed by another hot towel and a favorite aftershave.

If that doesn’t chill things out I don’t know what will.

The staff here at SRP is dedicated to providing our members with a site offering multiple benefits. There is help for the rookie beginning this journey, a place for the seasoned pro to discuss technical facets of straight and wet shaving, a place to discuss advanced topics, a hobbyists retreat, and lastly a place where everyone is part of an extended family. It’s a place to take your shoes off and sit and relax a spell and talk to your long distance family and forget the outside world and its problems.
