Thread: Great Lather Trick

I guess I do a mini variant of this. I soak the brush in an inch of water in a mug. I put maybe half a teaspoon of water on top of the soap and immediately pour it into the scuttle so this only slightly wets the soap. Then I shower. After the shower I load the brush on the puck and minimally face lather on my wet face. The lathered brush then goes into the scuttle and I start to build the lather, adding water as needed.

At that time, I strop my razor. It doesn't take long for me to strop but I noticed that the short delay seems to improve the lather. I go back to the scuttle and finish up the lather, which then goes onto my already lather-softened face.

Anyway, that is my form of lathering voodoo.
